Isle of Man Easter Festival of Running 2018

Love running? Three days, three races, don your running shoes and challenge yourself in 2018!

The Isle of Man Easter Festival of Running will take place between 30th March - 1st April 2018. It's an established three day running event that combines athletic and social activities in stunning natural surroundings.

The Festival attracts around 500 competitors each year, with a large portion of visiting athletes. It's especially popular with University running clubs who make the annual pilgrimage to renew friendships and rivalries.

The Festival consists of three races. Opening on Good Friday evening with a scenic 10-kilometre road race around the streets of Port Erin and Port St Mary in the south of the Island. The race includes both male and female competitors who run together.

The second race on Easter Saturday takes place on the west of the Island on Peel Hill. The race takes in the summit of Corrin's Folly and starts and finishes on the road but the majority is on grass.

The third and final race takes place on Douglas Promenade on Easter Sunday.

The Festival finishes on Easter Sunday evening with the prize presentation and party. This includes the legendary beer drinking races, which for many are the highlight of this sporting weekend!
