Ferries to the Isle of Man from Liverpool
Ferries operate between the Isle of Man and Liverpool daily during the summer season (generally this is the end of March to the end of October). This route is operated by the fast-craft ‘Manannan’ vessel in a time of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Able to carry both vehicles and foot passengers, Manannan is equipped with a number of facilities designed for the comfort of passengers including a café and bar, restaurant, shop, two cinema rooms, children’s play area and VIP lounge.
The Steam Packet Company terminal at Liverpool’s Pier Head offers toilet facilities, and a number of food vending machines. No smoking is permitted anywhere in or around the terminal building.

The Pier Head ferry terminal is located next to Liverpool’s famous Liver Building.
Liverpool centre has a number of train stations which link the city to the rest of the UK. The closest station to Pier Head is Moorfields, which is approximately a five to ten minute walk away.
